Every day, we are working with our passion to pursuit perfect fusion of fresh ingredients, preparation techniques, and skilled chefs. We are delighted to introduce teishoku as an addition to sushi, tempura, and other Japanese menus currently available in New York. Ootoya is a global restaurant chain across 8 countries (Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Indonesia and USA) developing over 400 stores. In New York, we operate 4 full seating restaurants including 3 Ootoya stores and Tempura Matsui, a Michelin star cuisine.

As the CEO, Izuru is responsible for running all facets of the business. Izuru has experiences in hospitality industries and an accounting firm as CPA. He joined Ootoya in July 2014.
RYUICHI SHIMAKURA
General Manager
Ryuichi attributes his success in restaurant industries over 15 years. Ryuichi joined Ootoya in September 2015 and lead whole operations.
