Manage the transfer of technology from Sodick Japan and its overseas factories to Sodick, Inc. by providing updated product and engineering information regarding Sodick electric discharge machines (“EDMs”) including Wire EDMs, Sinker EDMs, Small Hole EDMs, High-speed Milling machines, and Metal 3-D Printing machines to Service Engineers and Application Engineers at Sodick, Inc.; Support sales and service by supplying technical documentation for parts and service departments needed from Sodick Japan and its overseas factories, along with acting as technical liaison between Sodick Global Group and North America for any technical support necessary and handling special machine option requests by providing special specifications to the Sodick factory based upon customer needs and requirements; Exchange technical information with Sodick Japan and its overseas factories regarding specifications and features of Sodick machines, recommending machine modifications and improvements to Sodick Japan; Test measurement and analytic equipment utilized at the Sodick facility and training Service Engineers and Application Engineers regarding the most recent technical developments by Sodick Japan. Supervise Senior Service Engineer / Global Procurement Coordinator. Occasional domestic travel is required.
